Born and raised in Edmonton Alberta, Cesar as a child has always had a passion for the arts. In his high school years Cesar was privilege to have gone to Victoria School of Performing and Visual Arts where he was officially introduced to the world of theatre and dance. Once graduated he packed his dance shoes, and his favorite camera, and moved to Vancouver to pursue his life long passion for Film. It wasn’t until a year after graduating the Acting for Film and Television Program at Vancouver Film School in April of 2008, that Cesar had his first theatre break playing “Angel” in Fighting Chance Productions RENT. He then went on to do High School Musical 2: On Stage with Uncle Randy Productions, opening even more doors for him in the cities theatrical community. In January 2010 Cesar received a Gypsy Male nomination at the 2009 Ovation Awards for his chorus work in High School Musical: On Stage, and for his supporting role as Angel in RENT. Since then he’s been in Fighting Chance’s The Wedding Singer, Hair, and Concrete Vertigo’s Ruby Red Burlesque.
Right now Cesar is working for the very first time with Applause Musicals. This is the company’s first show of the season called Good News which opens on Thursday November the 25th.
